Chapple Construction has been building quality for over 20 years.

Get to know Michael Chapple aka Mick, a little better…

So Mick, what do you love about building?

I love seeing ideas come to life. There’s something really rewarding about turning a client’s vision into a reality, whether it’s a cozy new nook or a grand extension. It’s like piecing together a puzzle and watching the whole picture come together perfectly.

Plus, I get to work with an awesome team that makes the whole process enjoyable.

Why should clients choose Chapple Construction?

Clients should work with us because we genuinely care about their needs and vision. I believe in building strong relationships and keeping communication open throughout the project. Building shouldn’t be stressful, and I want my clients to feel relaxed throughout.

With over 20 years in the game and a dedicated team by my side, I’m committed to delivering top-notch quality and ensuring every detail is just right.

And.. at end of the day, I just want to make people happy.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to prospective clients?

My best advice is to take the time to plan and communicate your vision clearly. The more detailed we are from the start, the smoother the process will be.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions or share any concerns—you’re a key part of the project, and your input is crucial to making sure everything turns out just the way you want.

What’s the best part of your job that makes you smile?

The best part of my job is seeing the look on a client’s face when they first step into their finished space. It’s a mix of pride and joy that’s absolutely infectious.

Knowing that we’ve made their vision a reality makes all the hard work worthwhile.

How do you like to unwind after a busy day on-site?

A good meal, a beer and a bit of downtime with the people I care about always helps me recharge.

What’s one thing you wish every homeowner knew before starting a construction project?

I wish every homeowner knew that flexibility is key. Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, and that’s okay. With a bit of patience and open communication, we can work through any hiccups together and still achieve great results. It’s all part of the process, and we’re here to guide you through it every step of the way.

If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Calm, hardworking and reliable.

Favourite tool and why?

A hammer! Simple, reliable, and essential for bringing projects to life. Whether it's framing a structure or finishing a detail, it’s the tool that always gets the job done right.

And finally, if a client offers you a drink what are you having?

White coffee with one, please.
